Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and lesson plans for the VPK program.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
- Foster children's social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Conduct assessments and maintain progress records for each child.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional development opportunities.
- Ensure the classroom adheres to all state and licensing regulations.
Qualifications:
- Florida VPK endorsement.
- Early childhood teaching experience.
- Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of Florida's early childhood education standards and regulations.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
