Position: Maintenance Tech (Part Time)

Reports To: Facilities Manager

FLSA Status: Hourly

Department: Facilities Maintenance 

Job Summary: The Maintenance Tech position assists everyone associated with the Facilities Maintenance division as well as other departments to help with the overall operations of the facility. All duties of the position shall be performed with a commitment to the highest level of member and guest service with a focus on total customer satisfaction. This position is designed to provide the necessary exposure, experience, and preparation for this individual to pursue a future growth and development within the service industry.

Qualifications: The Maintenance Tech position must meet the requirements below:

• Valid State issued Driver’s License
• Must have a clean driving record and be able to join company insurance policy
• Meet all Federal and State Employment Eligibility guidelines
• Must be able to stand on their feet for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift and/or carry items that are under 100lbs. (always ask for help if needed) 

Job Tasks / Duties: The Maintenance Tech job duties include but are not limited to:

Daily Duties

• Assist with and complete all opening and closing procedures as outlined by management staff
• Taking out trash around the Campus
• Greet Members and Guests upon arrival as well as providing a friendly farewell upon departure
• Maintaining a thorough Maintenance report
• Assist fellow teammates to ensure the highest quality of member and guest service
• Moving luggage from guest quarters into locker room or vice versa
• Greet all Members and Guests by name and in a professional manner
• Pickup and Drop-off Members and Guests at the local airports
• Assist Members and Guests with Cottage room check-ins
• Manage the main gate with allowing Members and Guests through
• Preventative Maintenance (routine inspections, cleaning, filters on HVAC units)
• Troubleshooting and Repair (Diagnosing, repairing, or replacing broken parts for equipment and building structures
• Safety Compliance
• Plumbing Proficiency (toilets, sinks, showers, and drains)
• Using a blower throughout campus to help maintain cleanliness
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Relay important information to management staff including Member/Guest issues, work equipment not functioning properly, or staff misconduct
• Proactively manage daily workflow to maximize productivity
• Take ownership of your work 
• Conduct oneself in a professional manner and maintain a professional image at all times
• Daily Cleaning around the entire Property Campus (if you see trash-Pick it up)
• Keeping the Learning Center clean and organized 
• Minor electrical repairs
• Follow all workflow checklists
• Ability to navigate stairwells in Cottages and Clubhouse
• Note: Other duties during a work shift may be assigned as needed

Schedule: The Maintenance Tech Full Time position will work approximately 29 hours or less per week during the entire year. Standard shift hours range from, but are but not limited to, 6:00 am to 2:00 pm. This job may also require some Saturday and Sunday shifts depending on business demands or work needs.
