Host/Hostess

The Melting Pot of Palm Beach Gardens is seeking a dynamic, hospitality-focused Host/Hostess & OpenTable Reservation Specialist to join our team! Celebrating over 15 years of success, our restaurant is known for offering guests a unique and memorable fondue dining experience.

This role is perfect for someone with excellent organizational skills, a passion for guest service, and the ability to manage fast-paced front-of-house operations. You’ll be the first and last impression for our guests—setting the tone for an unforgettable night.

Responsibilities:

• Warmly greet and seat guests in a friendly, timely manner
• Manage OpenTable reservations, seating assignments, and guest flow
• Answer phones and assist guests with inquiries or special requests
• Make guest callbacks to ensure satisfaction and encourage return visits
• Support local marketing, charity outreach, and social media engagement
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming host stand
• Collaborate with the service team to ensure a seamless dining experience
• Personally connect with each table and build guest relationships

Qualifications:

• 2+ years experience in a full-service restaurant (Preferred)
• Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation software (Required)
• Strong communication and multitasking skills
• Energetic and professional with a guest-first mindset
• Positive attitude, maturity, and a great sense of humor
• Basic computer proficiency (Word, Excel, POS experience a plus)
• Wine & spirits knowledge is a bonus
• Supervisory or team leadership experience a plus

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
• Some college coursework (Preferred)

Schedule:

• 4-5-day work week with 2 days off
• Shifts begin as early as 2PM
• Holidays and Weekends required
