Featuring 36 oversized guest rooms and an intimate lobby lounge and cocktail bar, this lovely urban lodge is designed to welcome and charm the most discerning traveler.
POSITION PROFILE:
We're looking for a Front Desk Supervisor with a collaborative spirit to support our General Manager. The ideal candidate will assist in overseeing Front Desk, Valet, Housekeeping, Property Maintenance, and overnight teams to maintain trusty service for guests and a positive environment for the team.
THE TASK AT HAND:
Assist with managing all operational functions of the hotel to ensure smooth operations and a great guest experience.
Hold regular team meetings to keep all departments updated on SOPs and essential details, and ensure full compliance with hotel operating controls and service standards.
Take the lead on guest complaints and service recovery, ensuring all decisions serve the hotel's and guests' best interests.
Partner with the General Manager on improvement actions, cost savings, and procurement of operating supplies and equipment.
Manage third-party vendor relationships for essential equipment and services.
Lead training for key team members and coordinate special activities and daily functions across departments.
Arrange the weekly team schedule and supervise all on-property team members during their shifts.
Lead the team in a positive, upbeat manner, holding colleagues accountable while taking ownership of guest issues, and respond promptly to audits for continuous improvement.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
Required
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position, preferably at a luxury hotel.
Strong working knowledge of and passion for hospitality, with the leadership skills to build a cohesive team.
Hands-on approach with critical, objective thinking; guest-service oriented.
Flexible schedule, with complete openness to varied weekly schedules based on hotel occupancy, including weekends and holidays.
Physical
Requires mobility and prolonged standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 35 lbs, standing or walking a minimum of 8 hours.
