At Mine Hospitality is looking for a Hotel Front Desk Agent to serve as our guests’ first point of contact and manage all aspects of their accommodation.
The Front Desk Agent manages reservations and provides room, rate, and amenities information. If you have a knack for customer service and work experience in the hotel industry, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will help create a pleasant and memorable stay for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Perform all check-in and check-out tasks.
- Make sure all inhouse guests are comfortable and satisfied.
- Take lead on handling guest issues & complaints.
- Managing housekeeping team, including inspecting rooms before guest check-in
- Communicate with maintenance.
- Keep the common areas neat & clean.
- Send reports to the afternoon team.
- Make sure to file the reports accordingly.
- Keep track of parking permits
- Maintain excellent customer service by greeting and all guest at check-in/checkout, and in passing. (At all times)
- Work independently with limited supervision and with integrity.
Qualifications
- Availability on weekends is mandatory
- Flexibility on schedule (Days off may vary)
- Familiar with navigating laptop programs, Fast learner
- Fluent in English and Spanish is a plus!
- Experience in customer service
- Be Independent and a "problem solver" employee
- Exceptional communication
- Ability to take ownership & responsibility.
Schedule:
- 7-hour shift
- Part time (4 days per week) or Full time (5 days per week)
- Day shift
- Holidays
- Weekend availability required.

What we need from you:
- Communication skills — guests will need to come to you with concerns as well as compliments, so you’ll be easy to talk to
- Your problem-solving skills will turn issues into opportunities, so every guest leaves with great memories.
- Fluency in the local language — extra language skills would be excellent but not essential
- Literate and tech-savvy — you’ll need a good grasp of reading, writing, basic math, and computers.
- Flexibility — weekend and holiday shifts are all part of the job.
- Experience — ideally, you’ll have spent at least one year in a front desk or guest service position.
- Strength — sometimes you’ll need to lift, push and pull big objects up to 50lbs (23 kg). This can involve bending and kneeling.
