Coco Key Hotel & Water Resort is seeking an energetic and guest-focused Bartender to join our Food & Beverage team. The Bartender is responsible for providing exceptional guest service while preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards, recipes, and responsible alcohol service guidelines. This position supports restaurant, bar, poolside, banquet, and special event operations throughout the resort.

 

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
  • Provide friendly, professional, and attentive service to all guests.
  • Verify guest age and ensure compliance with all alcohol service laws and company policies.
  • Accurately process guest orders, payments, and cash transactions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, equipment, and service stations.
  • Monitor guest consumption and practice responsible alcohol service at all times.
  • Restock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, and supplies as needed.
  • Assist with inventory counts and notify management of low stock items.
  • Prepare garnishes and complete opening and closing side work.
  • Support banquet events, pool operations, and special functions as assigned.
  • Maintain knowledge of menu items, beverage offerings, and promotions.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with servers, cooks, and other team members to ensure excellent guest


Qualifications
  • Previous bartending experience preferred.
  • Excellent guest service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic math and cash handling skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
