Description

Blessed Trinity Angels in Arms, located in Ocala, has an opening for a dynamic and compassionate teacher for our early childhood learning center, Toddler Program.  This position is full time, Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities and Duties: 

• The ideal candidate will be caring, understanding flexible and fun, with a passion for working with young children.  
• The position requires working with children, 2 years and younger.
• The position performs duties that are instructional in nature, delivers direct services to students or parents, serves in a position for which a teacher has ultimate responsibility for the design and implementation of educational programs and services.
• Supervises and monitors the safety of students in the classroom.
• Organize activities and routines that allow children to learn about the world, explore interests, have enough physical activity, rest and playtime.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective interpersonal relationships with parents and children.
• Help children keep good hygiene.

Management & Organization:

• Supervise students with your full attention at all times and implement school rules/procedures.
• Have flexibility in your schedule and show up on time to the places you are scheduled.
• Work collaboratively with coworkers to ensure that you exude excellence in any responsibilities given.
• Follow detailed instructions well.

Professionalism & Communication:

• Demonstrate professionalism by being in regular attendance and arriving on time to work.
• Complete required trainings on time.
• Demonstrate professionalism at ALL times.

Complete Department of Children and Families 45 Hour Training, in the process of, or complete within the first 90 days of hire. 

Experience in early childhood education preferred.
Teaches and acts consistently in accordance with the mission, philosophy, objectives, policies and procedures of the school and the Diocese of Orlando and promotes the ministry of Catholic education.
