The lab’s overarching goal is to understand how cellular signaling regulates renal mechanisms associated with kidney diseases and to identify potential therapeutic targets for improving renal function and long-term graft survival after organ transplantation. The Wang Lab’s research is supported by the National Institutes of Health (R01DK122050 and R01DK138092).
Utilize rodent models to study human disease. Required experience includes basic animal handling and research procedures such as blood collection, post-mortem tissue harvesting, intraperitoneal (IP) and intravenous (IV) compound administration, mouse husbandry, and basic microsurgical techniques.
Minimum Qualifications:
This position requires at least one year’s experience of research laboratory setting in biological science.
