Overview

Navitas is ready to invest in you!  We are seeking a Project Management Intern in Ann Arbor, Michigan that will assist with project planning, execution, financial performance, and production plans. The intern will be assigned a project and mentored by a PMO Team member this winter from approximately January through May. 

Responsibilities

  • Update process documentation aligned with the Product Phase Gate process
  • Assist with standardization of program management templates and workflows
  • Update Smartsheet-based reporting dashboards for program status
  • Support PMO-led training workshops with assisting in presentation & material development
  • Intern Learning Outcomes:
  • Gain exposure to real-world project management practices and tools
  • Learn how to translate strategic business objectives into process improvement initiatives
  • Understand the fundamentals of governance, reporting, and business tools within a manufacturing/technology environment
  • Enhance communication, collaboration, and presentation skills

Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of Project Management Principles (Bonus)
  • Strong attention to detail and document management discipline
  • Ability to follow governance standards
  • Basic understanding of business processes and work instructions
  • Self-motivated, coachable, and comfortable working in a structured environment

 

ITAR REQUIREMENTS: To conform to U.S. Government International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) the individual must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
