Lickety Split Air, Plumbing & Electric is a fast-growing residential HVAC, plumbing, and electrical company. We are seeking a Payroll & Administrative Assistant to support accurate payroll processing while assisting with essential administrative and office functions.
This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to handle confidential information while managing both payroll support and general office responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Payroll Support
Assist with weekly payroll processing for all employees
Review and verify timecards, PTO, overtime, and pay codes for accuracy
Enter payroll data including new hires, terminations, pay changes, and deductions
Assist with payroll audits and resolve discrepancies prior to payroll submission
Support off-cycle checks, corrections, and adjustments as needed
Administrative & Office Support
Prepare and make bank deposits as directed
Perform general office duties including scanning, filing, copying, and document organization
Maintain accurate physical and digital records in accordance with retention requirements
Assist with mail handling, document distribution, and basic clerical tasks
Support office operations and administrative projects as assigned
Compliance & Data Management
Maintain accurate employee and payroll records
Ensure payroll and administrative processes comply with company policies and applicable laws
Assist with responding to payroll-related questions with professionalism and discretion
Partner with Operations and Accounting to ensure data consistency
Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality regarding employee pay, personal information, and company-sensitive data
Demonstrates professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment at all times
Adheres to data privacy, record retention, and access control requirements
2-3 years of payroll, administrative, or clerical experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Comfortable working with payroll systems, timekeeping platforms, and office software
Basic understanding of payroll processes and wage & hour requirements preferred
Reliable, punctual, and able to work on-site
Experience supporting multi-location workforce preferred
Background in trades, construction, or field service environments preferred
Experience handling cash, checks, or bank deposits
