Overall Scope & Responsibility:

Supervise the overall functions of the Housekeeping Department. Ensure room and inventory control. Work closely with Front office department to meet guest requests and hotel demand.


Essential Duties:

  • Open housekeeping: check rooms inventory, assign rooms to room/suite attendants.
  • Inspect rooms, showrooms, VIP and suites.
  • Complete reports, verify status reports; report clean suites to hotel front desk
    • and/ or load into automated property management systems.
  • Communicate discrepancies with Front Desk.
  • Monitor payroll reports and work schedules.
  • Monitor lost and found program.
  • Ensure stock rooms and carts are maintained with proper supplies.
  • Provide customer service to guests (internally/externally), including information about hotel services, activities, and local attractions.
  • Promote team member loyalty and empowerment.
  • Communicate and coordinate with Engineering the repair and maintenance
    • programs as related to guestrooms and public areas.
  • Monthly linen inventory.
  • Ensure special guest requests are followed though.
  • Manage the daily flow of the Department.
