Overview

The Global Director Events supports the planning, coordination, and operational execution of events across the dRG ecosystem. This role works closely with brand teams and production partners to streamline planning processes, align internal teams, and ensure events deliver strong guest experiences while supporting marketing, content, and partnership objectives.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building structure around complex event programs and managing the details that keep events running smoothly. The ideal candidate has experience supporting premium or luxury events and understands the level of detail and service required when engaging collectors, brand partners, and high-net-worth audiences.
Responsibilities
- Event coordination: Support planning and coordination of events across the dRG portfolio including rallies, concours partnerships, luxury experiences, and community gatherings. Work with brand teams and external production partners to ensure smooth planning and execution.
- Global event calendar: Maintain and manage a centralized calendar of events across the dRG ecosystem and coordinate with brand leaders to track upcoming programs and opportunities for collaboration.
- Production planning: Develop run-of-show documents and production timelines for key events and track milestones, vendor deliverables, sponsor commitments, and team responsibilities.
- Internal alignment: Organize planning meetings and internal event briefings to ensure teams are aligned on objectives, logistics, and brand integrations.
- Sales coordination: Provide event details and metrics to support post-event sales recaps, sponsor reporting, and partnership summaries.
- Marketing support: Partner with the Integrated Marketing team on communications, promotions, and campaigns to support event visibility, attendance, and ticket sales where applicable.
- Content capture: Coordinate with marketing and editorial teams to ensure events generate photo, video, and editorial content for use across social media, eNewsletters, editorial coverage, marketing campaigns, and sales materials.
- Vendor coordination: Support venue sourcing and coordination with production vendors and hospitality partners as needed.
- Post-event reporting: Help facilitate event recaps and internal debriefs to capture insights and improve planning processes.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in event production, experiential marketing, or brand activations
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Experience coordinating vendors, sponsors, and production teams
- Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple events and timelines simultaneously
- Comfortable supporting on-site event execution
- Willingness to travel as required
