Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Events Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the planning and execution of a variety of events, ranging from corporate conferences and workshops to social gatherings and community festivals. This position demands exceptional communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning and coordination of events from inception to completion
  • Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and venues to ensure timely delivery of services
  • Support the development and management of event budgets and schedules
  • Coordinate attendee registration and manage guest lists
  • Prepare event materials such as signage, programs, and promotional items

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Previous experience in event planning or administration is preferred
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
