Chef - Cook

Meraki Greek Bistro is looking for a dedicated full-time Chef - Cook to join our team in Miami, FL. If you love cooking Greek food and want to be part of a friendly culinary team, this is the job for you!

Must-Haves:

• Experience in a restaurant kitchen
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques, including grilling and baking
• Understanding of safe food handling practices
• Strong personal hygiene and cleanliness standards
• Reliability and punctuality
• Ability to thrive in a team environment and excellent multitasking skills

Bilingual abilities are a plus.

Responsibilities Include:

You will start your day in a busy kitchen where you will prepare, cook, and plate a variety of delicious Greek dishes for our customers. You will work closely with the head chef to make sure each meal meets our quality standards. Throughout your shift, you'll handle multiple orders and make sure to follow cooking techniques and food safety practices. Keeping the kitchen clean and practicing good hygiene will be part of your daily work. You will also be part of a supportive team, working together to create a great dining experience for our guests.

As a Chef - Cook, you will generally work from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday. Weekend hours may also be required depending on the needs of the business, which operates from 11 am to 11 pm, seven days a week. We are currently hiring at our Coconut Grove location.
