Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift | Monday-Thursday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Friday 8:00 am - 12:00 pm

Salary: Starting $73,000 - 85,000 annually based on experience and education.


What You’ll Do

The Business Analyst will play a key role in evaluating CAN Community Health’s current clinical and support service offerings and identifying strategic opportunities for growth. This position will assess market needs, emerging trends in primary care and chronic disease management, and gaps in service delivery across CAN’s network. The analyst will generate data-driven recommendations on new services, programs, or partnerships that can enhance patient outcomes, expand access, and support organizational sustainability.

  • Analyze current CAN Community Health service lines, including primary care, HIV care, sexual health, behavioral health, pharmacy, and supportive services.
  • Conduct comprehensive needs assessments to identify potential expansion areas such as diabetes management, cardiovascular health, women’s health, hepatitis services, PrEP/PEP enhancements, telehealth models, and other disease-state programs.
  • Evaluate internal performance data, patient demographics, utilization trends, and clinical outcomes to determine gaps or opportunities.
  • Research external market trends, competitor offerings, emerging healthcare models, and community health needs.
  • Develop business cases for new or expanded services, including financial projections, resource requirements, and expected patient impact.
  • Support leadership in prioritizing service opportunities based on mission alignment, feasibility, and strategic value.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with clinical, operational, financial, and community outreach teams.
  • Prepare clear and actionable reports, dashboards, and presentations for executive leadership.
  • Assist with pilot program design, evaluation frameworks, and implementation planning.
  • Maintain awareness of regulatory requirements, reimbursement models, and public health initiatives that influence service delivery.

Requirements

Education/Professional:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in business, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Data Analytics, or related field; master’s preferred
  2. 3+ years of experience in healthcare analytics, business analysis, strategic planning, or a related role
  3. Strong understanding of primary care, chronic disease management, public health, and community-based health services.
  4. Experience with financial modeling, forecasting, and service feasibility assessments.
  5. Proficiency in data visualization and analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
  6. Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and have valid insurance and driver’s license.
