Pay Rate: $17.00/hr

Shift: Thursday, Friday, Saturday 10:00am - 8:00pm (30 hours weekly)

About the Role: Bartender & Pool Bar Attendant

  • Meal Preparation: Prepares alcoholic & non alcoholic beverages some pre-set meals according to daily/weekly menus. Assists under the direction of the Geneal Manager.
  • Purchasing and Inventory: Follows proper receiving procedures. Assists in maintaining bar supplies, food, and supplies to ensure timely availability. Maintains inventory records and control.
  • Financial: Minimizes food waste by adhering to menu standards. Collaborate with the team on budget and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Supplies and Equipment: Keeps food and beverage service supplies operating efficiently by enforcing adherence to operating instructions.
  • Customer Service: Demonstrates professional behavior and teamwork with staff, vendors, customers, and agency colleagues.
  • Safety: Maintains safe, secure, legal and healthy work environment by following and enforcing sanitation and quality of food preparation and service standards and procedures. Ensures sanitation of the kitchen and all service areas.
  • Professional Development: Stays informed on emerging food and service practices. Participates in training and development opportunities.
  • Other Duties: Conduct inventory, maintain station, as well as maintain safety and sanitation of kitchen.

What are the requirements?

  • A minimum of a year’s experience in culinary with basic knowledge of bar experience required. 
  • Demonstrate proficiency and effectiveness in verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, time management and ability to handle high volume multiple projects.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
