The Tampa Funny Bone Comedy Club in Historic Ybor City has an opening for part-time service bartender. The position would work best for an experienced bartender that has school or full time day time employment and is looking to work primarily Friday and Saturday nights, although occasional weekday & Sunday shifts also required. Approximately 4:30pm to 10:00pm on single show nights and sometimes to 1:30 AM on Friday or Saturday, depending on the evening's start time. Compensation is hourly plus Tips and a server tip-out. We are looking for an honest, hard-working and flexibility individual to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Vigilant on customer's identification. Confirming legal drinking age for everyone Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for 2 or 3 servers/some walk-up customers Engage with customers, take orders and serve drinks Assess customers needs and preferences and make recommendations Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails Plan and present bar menu/drink specials Check customer's identification and confirm they meet the legal drinking age Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience Comply with all food and beverage regulations qualifications Proven working experience as a bartender Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks Knowledge of a second language will be considered a plus Positive attitude and excellent communication skills Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean Relevant training certificate
