BridgePrep Academy Village Green is seeking a dedicated 9th–10th Grade English Language Arts (ELA) Teacher to deliver rigorous, standards-aligned secondary instruction. Partner with SMART Management in our mission to provide a student-centered academic experience enriched by technology and Spanish language integration.
Key Responsibilities
Instruction: Plan and deliver engaging secondary ELA lessons focused on literary analysis, structured writing, rhetoric, and state standards mastery.
Culture & Support: Maintain a structured, respectful classroom environment; differentiate instruction for ESE, 504, and ELL scholars through required accommodations.
Collaboration & Compliance: Participate in weekly coaching and PD; submit lesson plans and student data on time; maintain regular family communication.
Key Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in English, Secondary Education, Language Arts, or a related field.
Certification: Valid or eligible Florida Teaching Certificate in English (Grades 6–12).
Clearance: Level 2 Florida Care Provider Background Screening required.
Preferred: ESOL/Reading Endorsements; Master’s degree; prior secondary teaching experience.
